The Essential Site Introduction
What is this site, you might be wondering? This website reproduces the contents of Inner Brain's 1997 CD-ROM, "Tsukuttemiyou yo! Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon." The CD-ROM was basically a digital craft kit. Its contents consisted almost entirely of images that you could print out from your computer, and instructional videos that would teach you how to turn those sheets of paper into some really cool Sailor Moon crafts.
On this website, you can browse and download "craft kits" ripped directly from the original CD-ROM. Each kit comes with the images that you need, plus an instructional video. Or you can choose to download craft materials without the video. You do not need to understand Japanese in order to follow along with the instructional videos; every step of each project is demonstrated visually.
Before you head off to the downloads, however, I would ask you to please read through this page first.

The user simply prints out the appropriate image, then follows along with the instructional video provided. Usagi and Chibi-Chibi narrate the instructional videos. (Chibi-Chibi's witty commentary, however, consists entirely of her saying "Chibi!" at odd moments). Crafts include various paper dolls, paper dolls with moving parts, playsets, paper models, and even paper versions of cosplay accessories.
Copyrights: This CD-ROM and its contents are copyrighted by Inner Brain, Naoko Takeuchi, Kodansha, and TV Asahi. Phew!
So why reproduce a copyrighted
CD-ROM on this website?
I accidentally stumbled across a used copy of this CD-ROM when I was browsing a second-hand-games store in Japan. I was actually looking for Sakura Taisen... Talk about serendipity!! I had access to Japanese computers, and I was lucky enough to be able to play with the CD-ROM to my little heart's content. As I browsed it, I realized that lots of hidden gems were included on this little disk, including *adorable* chibi-Sailors drawn in a style that I had never seen before, and some original illustrations of Eternal Sailor Moon and Chibi-Chibi.
After I returned to the States, I realized that I could still access the contents of CD-ROM on my American computer, even though I couldn't get the software to install, and I of course couldn't use the actual game interface. However, since I could rip the important parts right off the disk - namely, the images and the instructional videos - I realized, Hey, I bet I can share these files with other people...
I realize that it is illegal for me to reproducing the contents of a copyrighted CD-ROM on this website. However, my reasons for doing so anyway are as follows:
- The CD-ROM is now out of print. Inner Brain does not even seem to exist anymore.
- The CD-ROM was intended for Japanese audiences only, so technically, sharing these files with English-speaking fans wouldn't eat into Inner Brain's marketing demographic (if one existed anymore) anyway.
- The CD-ROM contains original artwork that fans of Sailor Moon might have never seen before, and would surely delight in seeing.
That was the birth of this website. Now that we've got that out of the way, you can go on to the next page, "How to Use the Materials on This Site."
