Recently, I read an article on the Internet saying that the Japanese school year
begins in April and ends in March. I checked many other articles and the result was
the same. [ED NOTE: Yes, this is correct.  The Japanese school year begins in April 
and ends in March. --Kotetsu] So, for example, a person born in March 1980 would be 
attending school a year ahead those born in April 1980 along with students born after 
March 1979.
 
This has led me to wonder whether Yaten is the eldest among the Three Lights, or
whether he really is the youngest Light.
 
Yaten attends the same school year as his fellow Lights as well as the other senshi
(Usagi, Ami, Rei, Makoto & Minako). Seiya, Taiki, Usagi and the Inner Senshi are all
born in April or later. Yaten, however, is born on February 8.
 
If Yaten is born in the same year as Seiya and Taiki, following the Japanese school
year, he should be a year ahead of Seiya, Taiki, Usagi and the Inner Senshi.
However, if Yaten is born the year after, he would be studying the same year as them
(as how things are now).
