  Three Lights Discography

On this page you will find information on every single CD that has ever featured Three Lights/Sailor Starlights vocal music or BGM - from the anime series, that is. (Sera Myu CDs are covered in the Sera Myu Guide.) When indicated, if you click on the thumbnail of a CD, you will also be able to read a complete track listing of that CD. Three Lights CD Single

Nihon Columbia CODC-984
Released July 20th, 1996

Contains "Nagareboshi He," "Todokanu Omoi," and the karaoke versions of each, for four tracks total. Oddly enough, neither "Nagareboshi He" nor "Todokanu Omoi" was ever included in the two main Sailor Stars soundtracks. I guess that Columbia was hoping you would fork over the extra money for this little CD, or at least buy one of the anthology-like CD collections. The latter is probably the better deal, unless you NEED the karaoke versions of the songs to fulfill your Three Lights roleplaying fantasies.

Nihon Columbia COCC-13827
EverAnime GA-096
Released November 1st, 1996

Despite the many cute pictures of the Three Lights in Christmas scenes inside the booklet that comes with the CD, only the five Inner Senshi actually sing on this CD. Darn. So, to repeat: No Three Lights music. Just fun Three Lights Christmas artwork.

  Shopping for CDs

These links ought to take care of just about all of your (reasonable) CD shopping needs. Remember, several of these CDs are out of print now, and are *very* difficult to find. Also, be careful about buying bootleg CDs (SonMay and EverAnime) as opposed to the real thing. It's your choice to make, but at least be sure that you know what you're doing.

My shopping suggestions: Well, if you can afford to buy both the Memorial Song Box and the Memorial Music Box collections, then you're set for life. But for those of us with a little less money to burn, it's probably best to start with one of the single CD anthologies, like the Sailor Stars Best Song Collection or the recent Sailor Moon World Super Best. That's the best way to get your hands on "Nagareboshi He" and "Todokanu Omoi," anyway. If you want the three other Three Lights songs, you will need to buy either the individual character singles, or the Memorial Song Box collection. Ditto for the poems and prologues. As far as straight Three Lights BGM is concerned, there are only two options: the two very rare Sailor Stars soundtracks, or the Memorial Music Box.

It's been a while, but I'm fairly sure that most of these images, and all of the track listings linked below, originally came from The Compleat Sailor Moon CD List.
