For our 3rd annual Halloween special, I thought I'd hold a little fanart contest, which is something that I'd always wanted to do. The theme was, appropriately, Trick or Treat! This meant that contest entries had to feature one or more of the Three Lights wearing a costume. As in, going trick-or-treating. Interested artists didn't exactly have to draw the Three Lights carrying a bag of candy, standing on a porch, or ringing a doorbell. But the point was that the center of the artwork had to be a character wearing an unusual costume for one reason or another. Simple, wasn't it?
For a full list of requirements that contest entries had to meet in order to be eligible for prizes, click here. The contest winners were decided by three judges: me, Sawa Hikari (Red Ceres) and Meianou (Meianou.com). We first limited our choices to entries that met all of the rules and requirements (not all entries did). Then we each looked for entries that stood out beyond all the rest, based on our judging criteria. In the end, it was a VERY difficult choice, but we finally narrowed the pool down to three winners and three judge's picks.
So, without further adieu... The winners! (Judge's picks are listed in no particular order.)

Congratulations to the winners, and to everyone who entered! Like I said, it was a tough choice. There were a lot of awesome entries, a lot more than I ever expected. I owe a huge thank you to everyone who entered, and a huge thank you to the other two judges who helped decide the winners. (*hugs to everyone*) Overall, I feel that this contest was a great success. Once again, thank you everyone!
