Chapter 6: Chibi Moon to the Rescue! Usagi's Cooking Disaster! In the library, Usagi was writing a love letter to Mamoru. Finishing, she looked up to see Haruka and Michiru. "What are you doing in a library?" asked Michiru. "I know what you're doing. You're writing to the love of your life," said Haruka. "Hey! No peeking!" giggled Usagi. Later, she and Makoto were in a greenhouse, picking strawberries. "Hey, Mako-chan, let's make it a secret and eat them here," whispered Usagi. "No, we were going to save them to make a cake at Rei-chan's house, remember?" pointed out Makoto. They heard a noise. It was Taiki, who was in another part of the greenhouse. She was watering the roses. Stopping to pick two for her sisters, she pricked her hand on the thorns. Suddenly, Usagi and Makoto crashed through the door. "Hey, Taiki-chan, what are you doing...you're bleeding!" gasped Usagi. "It's nothing, really," whispered Taiki, blushing. "No, let me help!" exclaimed Usagi, bandaging Taiki's hand. "Thank you. I'll give you a present for your kindness," said Taiki softly, and she knelt down and proceeded to recite a poem. "It's Blake," she said, finishing. "Blake? Hey, like a coffee break!" giggled Usagi. "What?! Usagi-chan, Blake is the name of a poet," said Makoto. "Poet? What's that? Is it something tasty? Is it a popular new snack?" asked Usagi, confused. Makoto giggled, but Taiki remained emotionless. "Hey, would you like to come over to Rei-chan's house with us? Mako-chan's great at cooking strawberry shortcakes!" exclaimed Usagi. "Well, I'm going to be on a cooking show, but I need to invite someone else. Would you come? You sound like a good cook, Kino-san" said Taiki. "I'll come too, and bring my little sister, Chibi-Usa!" interjected Usagi. "Well, okay," said Taiki, a bit confused. Nezu was sitting on a park bench. "I don't want to work. I'm starting to feel unimportant," she whined. Flipping through a magazine, she found an ad for the cooking show Taiki was going to be on. "Mr. Yoshinogawa's Cooking Hour! He sounds like he might have a Star Seed," she thought. Then Sailor Galaxia called her. "You disappoint me, Sailor Iron Mouse!" she yelled, blasting her. "Sorry, Madam Galaxia. I really think I found one this time," said Iron Mouse. Elsewhere, Minako, Rei, and Ami were watching the cooking show. "Hi, I'm Mr. Yoshinogawa! And here are two young ladies! First is the youngest member of the Three Lights, Taiki Lights, and her friend, Makoto Kino. We are going to make a strawberry shortcake!" bubbled the announcer. Usagi and Chibi-Usa were watching behind the cameras. "Hey, where are the eggs?" asked Makoto, searching for her ingredient. "There! The eggs are right there!" shouted Usagi, crashing into the table, and knocking the bowl of eggs onto the floor. She picked it up, popped onto the show, and dumped them into the bowl, shells and all. "Hey! What's Usagi doing there?!" exclaimed Rei. "That's cheating!" shouted Minako. Then it was time to put the cake in the oven. Makoto picked up the flour package, wondering why it hadn't been used. Then the oven exploded, covering the whole room in cake batter! "What'd I do?" asked a shocked Usagi. "You used baking soda, not flour," said Makoto. Looking at everyone, and their messy faces, Usagi proceeded to laugh uncontrollably. "Usagi, I haven't heard you laugh since Mamoru left," said Chibi-Usa, relieved. Then, of course, Nezu showed up. "I want your Star Seed!" she yelled, turning Mr. Yoshinogawa into the phage, Sailor Chef. "Moon Crisis Power!" "Jupiter Crystal Power!" "Make-Up!" yelled Chibi-Usa and Makoto. Taiki ducked into another room, and transformed too. "We like good food!" shouted Sailor Chibi Moon. "You're messing with the people who make good food!" added Sailor Jupiter. "Agents of love and justice, pretty Sailor Senshi, Sailor Jupiter!" "Sailor Chibi Moon!" "And Sailor Star Maker!" The three Sailor Senshi stepped up, introducing themselves. Sailor Chef threw a gigantic pot at them. Chibi Moon jumped aside, but Star Maker and Sailor Jupiter were trapped underneath! The phage stood on top of the pot, to make sure the captives wouldn't escape. Chibi Moon looked at Usagi, who was still rolling on the floor, giggling hysterically, and knew she had to save them somehow. She pulled out her Crystal Bell, feeling a new power swelling up inside of her. "Pink Moonbeam Blaster!" she shouted, shooting a pink energy beam at the phage, knocking it off the pot. Star Maker and Sailor Jupiter popped out, gasping for air. Chibi Moon went over to Usagi, and shook her, yelling "You need to transform and turn that monster human again!" Snapped back to her senses, Usagi transformed, and then healed the phage. Later, the girls sat around at Rei's house, enjoying the strawberry shortcake they had been promised. "All my allowance is gone!" wailed Usagi. "That's because you had to buy extra strawberries! You gave all the others to Taiki-chan!" retorted Rei. "Well, we didn't know she was such a big eater! I guess she needs the extra food to sustain those huge muscles, but still..." said Makoto. "How come you told her that I was your sister?" asked Chibi-Usa. "She might not believe the 'future daughter' story. It seems too unscientific to tell someone like her," said Usagi.
