This is the third story in my Sailor Moon Trilogy (the first two were "Sailorstars: A Fan's Rewrite," and "Sailor Moon: Identities Revealed") It is set in Crystal Tokyo, which is in the future. In it, Sailor Chibi Moon has now been "upgraded" to Sailor Moon, though she is still called Chibi-Usa by the Starlights, though most of the other Senshi and the trainees call her either Usagi or Small Lady. I call her Usagi in the narration, though The Starlights are still girls. Also, Taiki has an IQ of a million, as was revealed in “Identities Revealed”. As for the people who don't have husbands (Seiya, Taiki, Pikachu, Chibi-Usa, Haruka, Michiru), well, they were given children by the Silver Imperium Crystal. It's magic, just like the Senshi's attacks. Also, Seiya wears glasses, and very thick, nerdy-looking ones at that. (She also wears them as Star Fighter, of course! If she didn't, it'd be hard for her to see the enemy! This is like in the other two stories, so this is nothing new if you have read those first.) Neo-Queen Serenity still has her glasses from Identities Revealed, of course! (well, duh, Usagi still needs them, even when she’s Queen, though they are silver-framed instead of pink), and Minako still has hers as well. Also, in Crystal Tokyo here, the schools use the American system, on account of that’s what I know, and also, do you really expect the future schools to be like the ones in the past? Maybe things have changed! Also, like in Identities Revealed, the Senshi don’t really have to hide their identities in public unless they want to, since people knowing who they were would make them more well-liked. Unlike in the famous Millennia Trilogy’s Sailor Moon Neo story (which is also set in Crystal Tokyo), the Senshi here age normally. It’s more like in the book Brave New World, where they LOOK young, for the most part, until they die. Original Senshi Rei is Sailor Mars Yaten is Sailor Star Healer Taiki is Sailor Star Maker Chibi-Usa is Sailor Moon, Seiya is Sailor Star Fighter Ami is Sailor Mercury Minako is Sailor Venus Setsuna is Sailor Pluto Makoto is Sailor Jupiter Hotaru is Sailor Saturn Haruka is Sailor Uranus Michiru is Sailor Neptune Pikachu is Sailor Aurora Shingo is Sailor Sun Ikuko is Sailor Earth Usagi’s Daughters Kodachi Tsukino is Sailor Infinity, age 8 Himeko Tsukino is Sailor Chibi Moon, age 5 Ami’s Daughters Akimi Mizuno is Sailor Algebra, age 11 Hikari Mizuno is Sailor Chibi Mercury, age 9 Fuu Mizuno is Sailor Hermes, age 7 Rei’s Daughters Harumi Hino is Sailor Antares, age 13 Arashi Hino is Sailor Soul, age 10 Atsuko Hino is Sailor Chibi Mars, age 7 Makoto’s Daughters Mihana Kino is Sailor Nova, age 14 Fuyumi Kino is Sailor Orion, age 11 Sakura Kino is Sailor Chibi Jupiter, age 8 Minako’s Daughters Kaori Aino is Sailor Chibi Venus, age 15 Chibi Aino is Sailor Aphrodite, age 12 Haruka’s Daughters Kuniko Tenou is Sailor Chibi Uranus, age 16 Chikara Tenou is Sailor Comet, age 14 Michiru’s Daughters Yumemi Kaiou is Sailor Song, age 14 Niji Kaiou is Sailor Chibi Neptune, age 10 Setsuna’s Daughters Megumi Meiou is Sailor Chibi Pluto, age 16 Mika Meiou is Sailor Hades, age 12 Akane Meiou is Sailor Fortune, age 8 Hotaru’s Daughters Shizuko Tomoe is Sailor Chibi Saturn, age 15 Natsumi Tomoe is Sailor Death, age 13 Seiya’s Daughters Sushi Lights is Sailor Chibi Aurora, age 11 Nabiki Lights is Sailor Chibi Star Fighter, age 8 Yaten’s Daughters Utsukushii Lights is Sailor Chibi Star Healer, age 12 Kaiyona Lights is Sailor Meteor, age 9 Taiki’s Daughters Hoshi Lights is Sailor Chibi Star Maker, age 17 Azuri Lights is Sailor Nebula, age 15 Pikachu’s Daughters Momoko Miller is Sailor Spring, age 18 Kasumi Miller is Sailor Summer, age 15 Yuriko Miller is Sailor Autumn, age 12 Naoko Miller is Sailor Winter, age 9 Villains Amanda-energy beams (Moon) Melissa-ice powers (Mercury) Jennifer-fire powers (Mars) Rachel-electric powers (Jupiter) Tiffany-uses a whip (Venus) Mary-wind powers (Uranus) Elizabeth-water powers (Neptune) Kimberly-dark powers (Pluto) Rebecca-plant powers (Saturn) William-lasers (Seiya) Jason-fire, like Jennifer (Yaten) Basil-slime (Taiki) Guide to Name Endings (and two other Japanese words) -oneesan/chan/sama: All three of them mean "older sister". Obviously, the Senshi use this ending for their older sisters! -san: is a respectful, impersonal ending, used mostly for someone who is older than you or someone you aren’t close to, though it can be used for those one is close to (though Taiki uses this ending with everyone, even her own family, and even Neo-Queen Serenity and King Endymion, whom she STILL calls “Usagi-san” and “Chiba-san”, respectively) -chan: a familiar ending, used mostly for someone who is younger than you (Seiya has a habit of using this ending with everyone, even men, though some of the other Senshi do this as well) -sama: a very formal, respectful ending, used for someone you really admire or for royalty (which means Taiki is being a bit rude by using the -san ending instead of -sama for the king and queen) -kun: some of the Senshi call Taiki this because she’s so masculine-looking; as it’s usually used for boys, it’s also used for a student in a lower grade than you whom you don’t know well; it can be a less familiar way of speaking to someone who is your equal or lower (also, Kasumi has a weird habit of using -kun with everyone’s names; Sushi does the same thing, except it’s with the kids only) -sempai: used for someone at your school who’s in a higher grade no ending: is very familiar and close, or else it’s rude and tough, some of the trainees are prone to not using endings with anyone, and the villains don't use name endings either, since they are from another dimension chibi: Japanese for little. Or else (like with the Chibi Senshi), I use it to mean Junior/the younger (like Sailor Chibi Moon). In English, if there was someone named Usagi who named her daughter the same thing, she would be called Usagi Junior, which is (I’m guessing) sort of the English equivalent of “Chibi-Usa. senshi: soldier(s), warrior(s) This is what the Sailors are called in the Japanese version and my fanfics, instead of Sailor Scouts. More on names: Most of the trainees call Chibi-Usa Usagi, but some call her Chibi-Usa. In the narration, I call her Usagi, and her mother is now Neo-Queen Serenity, since there is a character named “Chibi” (yes, that’s her real birth certificate name) anyway now (and she has taken the name Usagi now that she’s older and that her mother is usually called Serenity). The Starlights call Chibi-Usa in the same way they used to always do. So in this fic, if you see “Chibi” alone in the narration or alone/with an honorific used in speech, it’s referring to Chibi Aino, not Chibi-Usa, who is Usagi now (well, some still call her “Chibi-Usa,” but that’s not the same name, now is it?). Since there are so many of the Senshi with the same last names, Taiki calls everyone by their first names now (except for Mamoru and the guys who have their last names different). Actually, most of them call the new Senshi by their first names, just because otherwise it would be really confusing . For example, it’s not a good idea to call both Niji and Yumemi “Kaiou-san”. It’s less confusing to have them called “Niji-san” and “Yumemi-san.” As for the family honorifics, I only use the sibling ones, like in my other fics. Yes, there is someone named “Naoko” in the story, but other than the name, I meant her to have no connection to the creator of the Sailor Moon manga. If you want to see any of the characters’ descriptions or pictures, you can email me.
