Chapter 12: The Lost Sister of Sadness! Disappearance of the Evil Dimension! “Everyone. It is time to attack the Senshi’s dimension,” Amanda declared. Excitment swept through the evil dimension; it was finally time for the big attack! In the rush to go attack the Senshi, one ragged, starving girl was unnoticed. With a sneaky glint in her black eyes, she stuck the Chaos Crystal in her pocket, causing the dimension to self-destruct behind her and the other villains. This was unnoticed as well. Meanwhile... “Look, Shizuko-oneechan! I’m Sailor Saturn! Wee!!” Natsumi giggled, twirling around on Hotaru’s bed while holding a broom. “Sailor Saturn carries a broom?” Shizuko asked, playing along but also confused. “I’m pretending it’s the Silence Glaive, silly! WOAH!!” Natsumi shrieked as she fell over and crashed into Hotaru’s nightstand, knocking it over. “AAAH!! Natsumi-chan, are you okay?!” Shizuko gasped, rushing to help her sister. “I think so. Hey, what’s this pretty wand?” Natsumi wondered aloud. She was holding a white wand with a crystal ball on top. “Hey, maybe it’s a transformation wand for an extra Senshi! But why would Mama have it instead of Serenity-sama?” Shizuko asked. “Let’s go ask her!” Natsumi bubbled. “Ask me what?” Hotaru asked, poking her head in the room. “What’s this thing? Is it a Senshi wand?” Shizuko inquired, holding up the wand. Seeing it, Hotaru fainted. “YAAAH!!! What’llwedowhat’llwedowhat’llwedo!!!!” Shizuko was shrieking, running around in panic circles. “Hey, settle down. She’ll wake up soon,” Natsumi reassured her older sister. “Girls...that is forbidden...” Hotaru whispered, coming to. “Why? I don’t understand? What’s wrong with the wand? Is it evil?” Shizuko asked, frightened. She tossed the wand to Natsumi, wanting her calmer sister to hold it. “No, the wand itself isn’t forbidden, but...well, I think this is the time to tell you the story. Shizuko-chan, you have an older sister. Her name is Kanashimi,” Hotaru said. Shizuko and Natsumi looked at each other, then they both shrieked “WHAAATTT!!!!” “She was about two when you were born, Shizuko-chan. She was terribly jealous and HATED the idea of having a younger sister to share the attention with. So she ran away when you were born, and I don’t think anyone we know has even seen her, and now, we are the only ones who know of her. I just didn’t want to tell you; you were always such a happy girl, and I thought telling you would spoil that,” Hotaru explained. “What did this girl look like?” asked Natsumi, curious. “I’m sorry. The only other information I feel it’s okay to give out is that she was meant to be a Sailor Senshi, Sailor Life. And this was to be her transformation wand. Now let’s never speak of her again,” Hotaru said quickly, getting up and leaving her daughters watching, shocked. “It was good of you to come over to visit, Mako-chan!” Rei greeted Makoto happily, still calling her by her childhood name. “Yes, I even brought my family along,” Makoto said, as Mihana, Fuyumi, and Sakura followed her into the house. Suddenly Rei stopped, standing perfectly still. “What’s going on, Hino-san?” Fuyumi asked, curious. “I sense evil energy. Lots of it. But they have the auras of the Sailor Senshi...” Rei said, sounding a bit uncertain. Suddenly, 12 villains, 9 girls and 3 boys, crashed into the house. “We are here to defeat the Sailor Senshi!” shouted Amanda, the head villain. “If you want a battle, you’ll get it! Mars Crystal Power, Make Up!” “Jupiter Crystal Power, Make Up!” “Antares Star Power, Make Up!” “Nova Cosmic Power, Make Up!” “Soul Celestial Power, Make Up!” “Orion Star Power, Make Up!” “Mars Prism Power, Make Up!” “Jupiter Prism Power, Make Up!” Rei, Makoto, Harumi, Mihana, Arashi, Fuyumi, Atsuko, and Sakura all transformed, ready to fight. “Let’s go! You’ll pay for escaping, Sailor Mars!” shouted a red-haired girl, shooting fire at Rei. “Mars Flame Sniper!” “Jupiter Oak Evolution!” “Antares Flaming Spear!” “Nova Swirling Engulf!” “Water Soul Bird!” “Sword of Orion, Pierce!” “Mars Snake Fire!” “Jupiter Coconut Cyclone!” The six attacks shot at the villains, knocking them back. “Let’s go back and get the Chaos Crystal! Then we’ll have REAL power!” Amanda commanded. But when they tried to teleport, nothing happened! “What’s going on? Where’s our dimension?” Mary asked, frightened and clinging to Elizabeth, as usual. “We must have lost the Chaos Crystal,” Jennifer (the redhead) said sadly. “The Chaos Crystal? What’s that?” asked Sailor Nova. “It’s the gem that keeps our dimension, well, there. If it ever disappears from there, our dimension will collapse. But how could it have been taken out?” Jennifer thought aloud. “It’s okay. You can stay with us,” Sailor Jupiter suggested. “What?! Mama, they’re the enemy!” Sailor Nova protested. “I think that’s a good idea. They can learn love from us and stuff,” Sailor Orion spoke up. “But...you mean, we don’t have to fight and cause trouble for kicks? Because that’s what Mystina told us to do a long time ago,” Amanda said. “No you don’t. Mystina even went to our side,” reassured Sailor Antares, remembering the story of what happened in the past with Taiki and Pikachu. “Wait. There is one person who might have the Chaos Crystal,” Tiffany said. “Who?” asked Sailor Soul. “The jealous little girl with the rainbow hair we captured 15 years ago. The one called Kanashimi Tomoe,” Amanda said. “Hmm, now I remember. I think Hotaru-chan did have a child before Shizuko-san. But then she disappeared, and we kind of forgot about her,” Sailor Mars remembered. “I hear someone at the front door. Go get it, Shizuko-chan,” Hotaru said, barely looking up from the card game she was playing with Natsumi. “Okay!” Shizuko jumped up and went to the door. When she opened it, she saw a strange girl. The girl was 6 feet tall, with eerie, completely black eyes. Her long hair was rainbow-striped, and she was wearing rags. “I am Kanashimi Tomoe. I have come to get revenge on you, Shizuko,” she said bluntly.
