Chapter 1: Pass Around the Magic! Senshi Powers Are Received! A girl's long, red and blue pigtails sweeped across the floor of a dark castle. "What is the word, Melissa? Have you located our Sailor Senshi warriors?" she asked, looking at a girl with short light blue hair. "Yes, I have, Amanda. They are in the dimension with those other Sailor Senshi, the ones in the legends from centuries ago," said Melissa, the girl with the light blue hair. "WHAT?! How did they get there?! They were supposed to help us defeat Neo-Queen Serenity! What are they doing there?!" screamed Amanda, raging with anger. "Well, as you know, Sailors Earth, Sun, Eclipse were reborn temporarily as Sailor Moon's mother, brother, and best friend. Then they suddenly stopped being Senshi. Now, the powers of some of the Sailor Senshi of our dimension have been reborn in the other dimension," explained Melissa. "Well, let's get the ones that weren’t reborn back. We need to accomplish what Mystina couldn't," said Amanda. "Speaking of Mystina, didn't she accidentally destroy theChaos Crystal when she attacked the Time Gates? That was probably how OUR Sailor Senshi got put on Earth!" exclaimed Melissa. "I don’t think you realize that we have a second, back-up Chaos Crystal. We can use it to get the Senshi that weren’t reborn. As for the others, we have ways of dealing with Sailor Senshi in general,” said Amanda. With that, she took the Chaos Crystal from its stand and called upon its evil power, causing the 114 unreborn Senshi essences to be trapped. “Good, everyone is here. Now you all know why this meeting has been called,” Neo-Queen Serenity said importantly. All 15 Senshi were gathered around a table in the palace, including Ikuko and Shingo. “Right. I have been having ominous dreams of a girl who is draining the power of the many Senshi that Mystina accidentally put into the Earth. This means that many Senshi may not be reborn,” explained Rei. “Yes. Luckily, I have a way to help stop this possible enemy-girl,” Neo-Queen Serenity said, setting a large bag on the table. “What’s in that? Witches’ potions? Eye of newt and cream of toad soup?” Pikachu asked jokingly. “No, they are Sailor Senshi transformation items. I have marked each one of them with the name of one of your daughters and the name of the Senshi they must become. Bring these to them and help them become Sailor Senshi,” Neo-Queen Serenity commanded, though she did think Pikachu’s joke was a bit funny. She opened the bag and let the 31 transformation items, some brooches, some wands, some pendants, and some other weird things, spill out onto the table. There was a bit of a scuffle as everyone tried to figure out whose daughters would get which items, but soon everything was sorted out. “You mean the Amazoness Quartet, even though they preferred kids with dreams, overlooked you for a long time, Mama? They sound pretty stupid,” Kodachi Tsukino said, giggling. “They weren’t stupid. They were powerful acrobats, and they were tough enemies. They actually weren’t originally...come in?” Usagi asked, her long pink pigtails flying as she turned her head to the door of her elder daughter’s room. Neo-Queen Serenity came in, along with the younger of her two granddaughters, Himeko Tsukino. “Yes, Grandma? Mama was telling me about her Senshi battles against the Dead Moon Circus,” said Kodachi. “I’m glad you’re interested in the Senshi battles. Because you and Hime-chan are going to be Sailor Senshi,” Neo-Queen Serenity informed her. “Really?! That’s so cool! Who are we supposed to fight?” Kodachi asked, excited. “Woah, settle down. Rei-chan isn’t sure, but she’s been having ominous dreams. That’s the sign of attack. As for the fact that you are Senshi, well, your transformation objects appeared with you when you were born, but we’ve just kept them unless they were needed. And now may be a time we might need the 32 new Senshi reborn,” explained Usagi. “Kodachi-chan, here is yours. You are Sailor Infinity,” said Neo-Queen Serenity, handing her a black-and-white infinity sign pendant. “Wow! What kind of powers do I get?” Kodachi asked, eager to try them out. “You’ll find out soon enough. Not too soon, we hope. Now for you, Hime-chan. First, Small Lady, I want you to give me your Chibi Moon brooch,” Neo-Queen Serenity instructed her daughter. Usagi obeyed, and then Neo-Queen Serenity produced her old Sailor Moon brooch, the Eternal one. “Small Lady, you can now be Sailor Moon, as I was. And as for you, Hime-chan, you are now Sailor Chibi Moon,” said the queen, giving each of them their respective new transformation items. “Sailor Chibi Moon...oh no, that’s the one with the cutesy attack,” moaned Himeko. “Cutesy?! Hey! Pink Sugar Heart Attack is what you get! When you grow up, you can pass on that power to someone else, but it worked for me! You should be glad you’re being allowed to be a Senshi when you’re only 5 years old; I was 6 before I got to be a Senshi. Besides, even a weak attack is better than nothing,” Usagi said sharply. “Hikari-chan? Akimi-chan? Fuu-chan? I’m home from the palace!” Ami called, entering the door with her daughters’ transformation items in hand. “Mama! What are those things?” Fuu asked eagerly. “They are your new transformation items. With them, you can become Sailor Senshi, like me,” Ami explained, leading them to the couch. “Sailor Senshi? Is there a monster we battle? Hiiyyaaah!!!” shouted Hikari, and she threw a kick and nearly knocked a lamp over. Luckily, Ami caught it. “Settle down. First, Akimi-chan. You are Sailor Algebra,” she said, handing Akimi a purple calculator. “Thank you, Mama. Can this be used in school as well?” Akimi asked. “Yes, it is a well-disguised transformation object. Not that hiding our identities is needed here,” Ami said. “Hey, what about me and Fuu? Don’t we get stuff? And what the HECK is a Sailor Algebra? What’s your powers going to be, Akimi, confusing the monsters with math?” Hikari teased. “You’ll see. As there is a Sailor Chibi Moon and a Sailor Moon, so there, for me, is a Sailor Chibi Mercury. That is you,” was Ami’s poetic response as she handed Hikari a blue, heart-shaped brooch. “What?!?! Sailor CHIBI Mercury?! You’re shorter than me; YOU should be the Chibi one!” Hikari whined, standing up to her full height of 6’ 6”, taller than Ami, even though she was only 9. “Hikari-chan, a Senshi with Chibi in their title means that they are the younger one, not the shorter one. It’s like how Minako-chan’s daughter, Chibi-chan is younger than Kaori-san,” Ami tried to explain to her fuming daughter. “Um, if Hikari-oneechan gets one, is that one for me?” asked Fuu, pointing to the final transformation object, a blue stick with two tiny silver snakes wrapped around the top. “Yes, Fuu-chan. You are Sailor Hermes,” said Ami, handing her the snake-stick. “Wow. Sailor Hermes,” Fuu sounded the strange English name out. Rei came home a bit quieter, as she could see her daughters all reading in the livingroom. “Hey, everyone! I brought Sailor Senshi items home for you!” she called, trying to be cheerful. “Okay. But isn’t that dangerous?” whimpered Atsuko, sounding scared. “Yes, it is dangerous. I can’t lie about that. But without the Sailor Senshi, many other people could be in danger as well. We need to protect them from monsters and evil people,” Rei told her frightened daughter, who was, at the moment, reminding her of the queen when she was very young and first had her Senshi powers. “I get it. These monsters and evil people must be unable to reason with us and must be purely evil, right? Because otherwise, we’d get arrested for murder and executed,” said Harumi in an oddly cheerful voice. “Well, you don’t have to put it in such morbid terms. Here, Harumi-chan. You can use this to become Sailor Antares,” Rei said, handing her daughter a red stick with a star on top. “And what of my younger sisters? Are they Senshi as well?” asked Harumi. “Of course they are. Arashi-chan, you are Sailor Soul,” Rei answered, and she gave her middle daughter a red stick that looked like it had a blue flame-thing on top. As Arashi looked at her new transformation stick, Rei turned to Atsuko. “It’s scary! My sisters could be killed,” Atsuko worried. “Then you must protect them. You are Sailor Chibi Mars, as Himeko-chan is now Sailor Chibi Moon,” Rei said gently, setting a red, heart-shaped brooch in Atsuko’s hands. Atsuko opened it, and found a red, shining symbol of Mars inside. “Wow. I take after your powers? Maybe I’ll be powerful enough then to not let anyone get hurt,” Atsuko said softly. “Hello? Anyone home?” Makoto asked, coming in the door. It seemed like her house was empty. “Surprise!! Welcome back from the palace!” shouted Mihana, her long brown hair flying behind her as she jumped out from behind a chair and hugged her mother. “What’s with this greeting?” laughed Makoto as Fuyumi and Sakura, Mihana’s younger sisters, peeked out from behind the couch. “I thought you were getting the queen to give us all royal titles!” Mihana demanded. “Um, no, I’ve brought something even better,” said Makoto, confused as to where her eldest daughter got that idea from. “What is it? This is a pretty jewel necklace,” said Fuyumi, touching a green jewel pendant that was hanging from Makoto’s hand. “Yes, it’s Mihana-chan’s transformation object. She can use it to become Sailor Nova,” Makoto said as she placed the pendant around Mihana’s neck. “Sailor Nova? You mean, the thing is that we’re Sailor Senshi!? That’s great! Now we can be warriors like you, Mama!” exclaimed Mihana, hugging Makoto, causing her to drop the other two transformation items. “Be warriors? Well, okay. It might be interesting,” said Fuyumi, curious. “I’m glad you think that way. You are Sailor Orion,” Makoto told her middle daughter, handing her a small sword with a green handle. “Will these powers help us fall in love, like if we rescue someone from the villains and they fall in love with us?” Sakura asked. “Possibly, Sakura-chan. For that wish, you are Sailor Chibi Jupiter,” said Makoto, and she gave Sakura a green, heart-shaped brooch. “That’s like you, Mama!” Sakura exclaimed, and she hugged Makoto. As Minako started to open the door to her house, she heard a large crash. “Oh no. What’s going on in there?” she groaned as she opened the door and peeked in. The livingroom was a mess. Books were scattered all over the place, and the crash must’ve been from the lamp falling. Chibi, her younger daughter, was standing on top of the couch, waving a sword around, trying to defend herself against Kaori, her older sister, who was aiming a flaming fork at her. “Chibi-chan! Kaori-chan! STOP THIS RIGHT NOW!!!” Minako ordered. “She started it! She said she was the Queen of the Dark Fire and started attacking me! I grabbed the sword to defend myself,” exclaimed Chibi, still standing on the couch. “I am the Queen of the Dark Fire, and everyone must fear! I wasn’t really going to get her bad, just singe her ponytail a bit,” Kaori said, defending her side of the fight. “Well! I don’t know if you two deserve to get these Senshi powers then. I might have to give them to someone else. Or maybe only Chibi-chan deserves them,” Minako teased, smiling as she dangled an orange, heart-brooch and a Birth of Venus pendant in the air. “Don’t tease us. If the Queen meant for us to have them, and you give them to someone else, you’ll just get in trouble,” Chibi pointed out. Minako sighed, she was right. As much as they seemed unfit for Senshi powers at the moment, Chibi Aino and Kaori Aino were destined to be Sailor Senshi. “Well, all right. But you can’t use them on each other or to wreck the house, okay?” Minako warned. “Fine. I hope my powers are something dark and evil,” Kaori said. “No, sorry, Kaori-chan, they’re not. You are Sailor Chibi Venus,” said Minako, giggling as she handed Kaori the orange heart-brooch. “Sailor Chibi Venus...so my powers are like yours? Awww...they’re for ditzy, happy people. Oh well. I can still use them as weapons,” Kaori decided, and then she wiggled the brooch, trying to hold it over Chibi’s head but failing. Despite the fact that Chibi was her younger sister, she was still the taller of the two, with a height of 5’ 8”. Little Kaori, the older sister, was only about 3’ 6”. “Does she only get powers? Is this like the ancient practice of primogeniture, where the oldest child gets all the inheritance and his or her younger siblings don’t get any or smaller parts?” Chibi asked. “Of course not, Chibi-chan. You are Sailor Aphrodite, and you’re a Senshi too,” Minako reassured her, giving her the Birth of Venus pendant. Chibi put it on, and said “This is also a famous work of art, are you sure this is magic?” Chibi asked. “Silly. You can even test it out. Can’t you hear the magic transformation words in your head?” Minako said. “I do. Aphrodite Eternal Power, Make Up!” Golden lights flashed, and Chibi Aino became Sailor Aphrodite, and was assured her powers worked. Haruka and Michiru entered the house they shared together. “Everyone! We’re home from the palace!” Haruka called. Yumemi and Niji, Michiru’s daughters, who had been sitting on the couch reading, came, and so did the elder of Haruka’s daughters, Kuniko. But where was Chikara? Suddenly a girl with her brown hair in a braided ponytail came sliding down the banister. She landed at the bottom gracefully, bowed, stood up, adjusted her glasses, and said “I welcome you back. Though I’m sorry to say, you have only just seen the end of the act of Chikara Tenou, actress.” “Don’t talk like that. It’s better to use simple, concise speech,” Niji snorted. “But it’s ever so much fun to use flowery speech!” Chikara giggled, doing a twirl as she jumped onto the couch, landing on top of Kuniko and Yumemi’s laps and looking up at Niji with her sparkling violet eyes. Before Niji could start anything mean, Haruka butted in. “Kuniko-chan. Chikara-chan. I have something important for each of you,” she told them. Chikara rolled off the couch as Kuniko stood up, looking worried, as usual. “It’s okay, Kuniko-chan. I have good news for you two. You are going to be Sailor Senshi,” Haruka said reassuringly. “Isn’t that a scary thing?” Kuniko whimpered. “It can be, but this will help you be able to protect people. Wouldn’t that be nice? If you’re worried, you can do something about it. Because you are Sailor Chibi Uranus,” Haruka informed Kuniko, handing her a dark blue heart brooch. “And, may I inquire, do I get these powers as well?” Chikara asked eagerly. “Yes, of course you do! You are Sailor Comet,” said Haruka, and she gave Chikara a dark turquoise comet charm bracelet. “And now it’s my turn to give the gifts to my daughters,” Michiru said, stepping up to Yumemi and Niji. “What kind of powers do we get? Are they like pretty flowers?” Yumemi asked. “Our Sailor Senshi attacks have been described as beautiful but deadly, Yumemi-chan. And you are Sailor Song,” Michiru explained, and she gave Yumemi a silver circle brooch. “Thank you. Does Niji-chan get powers too?” Yumemi asked. “Sure she does. She is Sailor Chibi Neptune,” Michiru giggled, and she gave Niji a turquoise heart brooch. “Mama! Mama! What are those things?” Megumi Meiou asked, grabbing Setsuna in a big hug as she returned. “Megumi-oneesan, please settle down. Aren’t older sisters supposed to be well-behaved?” gasped Mika, the middle sister. “I know, I can’t help it!!” Megumi wailed, crying. “It’s okay, Megumi-chan. These are Sailor Senshi transformation objects for you and your younger sisters,” Setsuna explained. “I don’t deserve to be a Senshi. I should be more quiet,” Megumi sighed. “Megumi-chan, being outgoing might be a good thing as a Senshi. Use the gift you have for wanting to speak out, and become Sailor Chibi Pluto,” Setsuna said, handing Megumi a black heart brooch. “So my powers are like yours...do I have to stay at the Time Gates like you used to?” Megumi asked. “Definitely not. Luna and Artemis can take care of that now, with their boosted powers,” Setsuna said, sounding relieved. A few years before Setsuna married Akira Hououji and became an architect, she was freed of her duties as the Time Guardian. In the Silver Millennium, the kind Queen Serenity had given Setsuna a reprieve; when Princess Serenity’s daughter becomes 13, you can give your job to Luna and Artemis and live a good life. Luna and Artemis were given superpowers and sent to the Time Gates, while Setsuna was allowed to live a free life in Crystal Tokyo. “I’m glad we can keep Megumi-oneesan here, even though she’s a little too wild sometimes,” Mika said, relieved. “I’m glad you love your sister. To help her as a Senshi, you can be Sailor Hades,” Setsuna told Mika, giving her a skullhead pendant. “And what about me?” Akane demanded. “Well, of course you are a Senshi too. You are Sailor Fortune,” Setsuna said, and she gave her youngest daughter a rainbow wand with a pair of dice on top. “So we are Sailor Senshi, Mama?” Shizuko Tomoe asked. “Yes, that’s what I said. Shizuko-chan, you are Sailor Chibi Saturn,” Hotaru answered, giving Shizuko a purple heart-brooch. “Oooh, I hope I don’t die from my powers,” Shizuko worried. “It’s okay. Your powers are completely non-lethal to you,” Hotaru reassured her daughter. Then she turned around and saw Natsumi wearing the other transformation object that was brought home, a black orb pendant. Hotaru giggled, then said, fake-sternly “You presumptuous little imp! How did you know that was yours to use to become Sailor Death?” “It’s obvious. Who else in this house would be a Senshi, especially if Shizuko-chan is one?” Natsumi pointed out. Shizuko touched her younger sister’s pendant cautiously. “Sailor Death. Isn’t that scary?” she asked. “No way! It’ll be fun being a Senshi!” Natsumi exclaimed, her completely white eyes shining. (authors note: Natsumi Tomoe/Sailor Death has weird eyes; they are completely white, no visible irises or pupils, she’s not blind, though, she just wears normal glasses which has nothing to do with the way her eyes look; she’s just like any real person who wears glasses; so without them she’s not blind, things are just kind of blurry) “Utsu-oneesan, that’s mean! I will NOT help you put a bucket on the door so it falls on Mama and Papa when they come in!” Kaiyona Lights scolded. Utsukushii giggled, and said “There’s more than one way to play a trick, Kai-chan.” Suddenly the door opened and Shingo Tsukino and Yaten Lights came in. “Who’s playing a trick?” Yaten asked. “She was going to dump water on your head!” Kaiyona accused. “Shingo, I don’t think Utsukushii deserves to be a Senshi!” Yaten shouted. “Yes she does. She may be a troublemaker, but that’s what she was born with. Give her the pendant, Yaten-chan,” Shingo said. “Fine. Utsukushii, you are Sailor Chibi Star Healer,” Yaten sighed, reluctantly giving her daughter a light green star pendant. Then she looked at Kaiyona and smiled. “Now you certainly deserve Senshihood. You are Sailor Meteor,” Yaten proudly told Kaiyona, handing her a silver star wand. “Welcome back, everyone! What did you go to the palace for? Did you see Aunt Yaten?” asked tall Hoshi Lights, who was 7 feet tall and 17 years old. “Did Usagi-sama learn to be a properly weak princess yet?” Nabiki asked. “Usagi-chan isn’t weak, Nabiki-chan, she’s a Sailor Senshi,” Pikachu said. She had married Seiya a while ago, and they lived together with Taiki because Seiya couldn’t bear to leave her sister. Pikachu was the only one with a real job, so they lived a simple life. “No way! Princesses are supposed to be weak, and then they turn into majestic leaders when they grow up to become queens!” Nabiki declared. “Hey, hey, enough of this. It’s time to pass around the power and give all of you your rightful destinies!” Pikachu exclaimed. Quickly, Pikachu’s four daughters, Seiya’s two daughters, and Taiki’s two daughters were in the livingroom. “Nabiki-chan. You are Sailor Chibi Star Fighter,” said Seiya, giving the blue-haired girl a light blue star pendant. “And what about me? I AM the older sister,” sniffed Sushi Lights, the other one of Seiya’s daughters. “Well, of course you get Senshi powers! You’re Sailor Chibi Aurora, like Pikachu-chan!” Seiya told her, giving her a rainbow-striped brooch. “Mama! Don’t Azuri and I get powers too? IT’S NOT FAIR THAT SEIYA’S KIDS ARE SENSHI AND I....MPPHHH!!!” shrieked Hoshi as Azuri grabbed her mouth. “Stop that! Those powers can’t be real. I don’t believe them anyway; they’re unscientific,” snapped Azuri. “No way! Then...Mama!!! Show her!” Hoshi demanded, grabbing Taiki’s muscular arm. “Azuri-san, you have the ability to transform into Sailor Nebula, but if you don’t want to, you don’t have to,” Taiki told her younger daughter, giving her a yellow star wand. “Fine. What do I do? Say Nebula Cosmic Power, Make Up!” shouted Azuri, testing out the new magic item. To her amazment, purple and yellow lights flashed, and she was wearing a Sailor Senshi outfit! “Huh?! This can’t be possible! Then, can I say Nebula Mysterious Surge!” she shouted, shooting a purple energy beam across the room, where it accidentally hit Hoshi. “MAMA!!!!! Give me my powers NOW!!!” screamed Hoshi, jumping up and wrenching a lavender star pendant from Taiki’s hand. “Maker Prism Power, Make Up!!!” “So, you can do this too, huh? Nebula Mysterious Surge!” “Star Primordal Ooze!” The slime and the energy beam shot at each other, and Taiki got in between them and took both blows. “What are you doing?! Don’t hurt yourself!” Seiya gasped. “Enough! I still have transformation objects to pass out to my kids!” Pikachu shouted. Momoko, Kasumi, Yuriko, and Naoko were gathered around her. “Okay. Momoko-chan is Sailor Spring, Kasumi-chan is Sailor Summer, Yuriko-chan is Sailor Autumn, and Naoko-chan is Sailor Winter,” Pikachu said rather quickly, giving Momoko a pink wand with a pink flower on top, Kasumi got a sun pendant, Yuriko receieved a golden wand with a maple leaf symbol on top, and finally, Naoko got a light blue wand with a silver snowflake. “Your powers actually came from Kinmoku’s past, like mine did. The Season Senshi were Sailor Aurora’s team who also liked the Senshi of the Moon Kingdom,” Pikachu said to her daughters.
