Chapter 1: A New home... and a New start


    "Beautiful.. isn't?", two girls over looked the landscape both sadden by what they knew was coming; " They don't believe us... they think where still traumatized from the destruction of our planet.", They had warned  the Princess of Kinmokusei and Her Senshi , but believed that the planet of the two girls where from was destroyed when they're sun imploded. And no matter how they tried these two women couldn't convince them of the danger heading to the planet. " Ran.. we could have left.... we should have left....", the dark haired girl looked over to her friend and sighed. " Mariko... We couldn't do that... we owe them our lives and they've been so kind to us. Allowing us to stay here and treating us like princesses.", Mariko walked away from Ran... she knew that the Princess of this planet and her soldiers had taken care of them.. that whole time that where in a comma, and she knew they owed a lot to these people. But what where they suppose to do they where able to defeat what destroyed their planet?  " We have to at least warn them...", she continued until she was interrupted,  " Warn us..? Warn us about what?"  Both girls looked up to see three females walking toward the... the sailor Star Lights, Mariko looked at the and sighed with annoyance,  she didn't despise them ... it was just their arrogance annoyed her to no end. Ran on the other hand smiled  she liked them all and thought they where all pretty nice... well all of the expect Star Healer, her attitude could irritate Ran every now and then. " What where you going to warn us about?" Sailor Star Maker asked her violet eyes studying both of the girls, " About the evil that destroyed our Kingdoms...", Ran trailed off waiting for the doubts of the Star Senshi, but none came the Star Senshi just looked at her.

   " If you guys are that worried about this evil, then help us protect our planet. It is after all your home now as well." Star fighter said with all seriousness... while here two partners just looked on.  Mariko and Ran looked at them then at each other and nodded,  if they couldn't help their own people... they will give their lives to help this planet's people. " You guys still don't believe us though ... do you?"  Mariko asked looking sternly, " It doesn't matter... Mariko, we will protect these people from what destroyed our world." Ran said placing her hand on her friends shoulder, she looked at Fighter, Maker and Healer. " We thank you... we thank you for the chance to protect again and for giving us a home again."   Ran and Mariko thanked them again, then turned and walked away.   " What do you think your doing, agreeing to allow them to protect this planet?!?" Star healer screamed after the two women where out of site. Maker just looked at Fighter who seemed to be ignoring the silver headed Senshi, " Tell me healer..... why did you wait for them to leave to ask me that? I mean that was so out of character for you." Fighter chided, Healer just growled and stormed off leaving Maker confused and Fighter with a smug smile on her face.

  " Come on Nami-chan... you can do better than that." Torrent teased as she side steps one of her friends attacks, Nami smiled and flipped back landing on a tree stump that was in the court yard they where practicing in. " Tor-chan... I have a question for you... and it has nothing to do with our training.".... Torrent stopped and just looked at her waiting to be confused, normally when Nami wanted to go during training... it was because of some random thought she pulled out of thin air. 

" What do you think of Seiya?  she asked sitting down on the stump.
" What do you mean ...'what do I think of her'? Torrent looked confused as she sat down on soft grass beneath her and her henshin faded leaving her as Mariko once again.  Nami did the same turning back into Ran, she looked up at what Mariko and pressed on. " You know what I mean. What do you think of her?"  Mariko wasn't completely dense... she knew what Ran was getting at and she had noticed the way Ran would be have around the Raven haired woman.  " I don't think much of her Ran, but it seems you do...." she trailed off as her smaller friend started to blush.   They continued talking like they would when they where on their home... like it was when they didn't worry about anything, they went on like this unknowing to the two pairs of eyes watching them.

    " Those two are strange... at one moment they're serious.... then the next carefree..." Seiya commented as she looked out over the two girls sitting in the court yard. But her company paid her no attention, her head was to busy buried in a book of poetry the taller woman barely acknowledged that Seiya was still standing next to her.  Seiya just blinked at the book cover.... then she growled before snatching the book out of Taiki's hands. Taiki... now very annoyed glared at Seiya. " WHAT DO YOU WANT!?" Taiki seethed and Seiya just smiled... and  continued " Now that I have your attention, What do you make of those two?"   Taiki sighed in irritation and looked over the girls in the courtyard, they where sitting down there throwing grass at one another.  " Nothing... they remind me a lot of the Earth Senshi, so naive."  Seiya looked at the girls again and disagreed... these girls didn't remind her of the Earth Senshi... they didn't remind her of anyone, they where all their own with their own shine. Taiki just looked at her, shook her and walked away... while Seiya just looked at the two... Rana more.
