What Now, Mamoru? It all started when.... Usagi's P.O.V. I saw Seiya standing at the shelves quietly. I crept up behind him. "Gomen Nasi, Sei-chan." "Ara? For what, Odango?" Seiya asked in surprise. "For not realizing your love for me until you left. I had fallen in love too, but I couldn't leave Mamoru." I began to softly cry. "I don't want you to hate me, Seiya." "I don't hate you Odango." Seiya said. "Look at me when you say it!" I yelled seeing he wasn't looking at me. He pulled me close. "I don't hate you Usagi. You know that....I never could." Seiya said softly and smiled. "Seiya....I'm so sorry." I whispered as I wept in his shoulder. "Daijobu, Usagi. Daijobu. It's fine." He said quietly and sweetly while stroking my hair. At that point Mamoru walked in. He saw me crying. Mamoru's P.O.V. I couldn't beleive my eyes. She was in his arms. Why? What have I done to her for her to go to him again? "What are you doing Seiya-chan?" "Geh? Nothing Mamoru-san." Seiya answered cautiously. "What did you do?!?" I said angrily. "Nothing." He answered. I heard Usagi sniffle, then answer. "He did nothing Mamo-chan." "Look me in the eyes and say it, Usako." She looked up at me, her eyes red and wet, her cheeks tear stained. "Sei-chan did nothing." "That's it, Seiya-chan. LEAVE! "What?!? I did nothing TO her!" Seiya yelled in disbelief. I rushed him to the living-room and did my best to push him out the door. "Don't call us, we'll call you!" I said tossing him out. Usagi's P.O.V. Seiya was doing his best to say someting, but with no avail. "Mamoru-san, wait!" Seiya pleaded. "Nope. Not THIS time, brother." Mamoru said angrily. "Mamo-chan!! Don't!!" "But, but, but, Usa-" Seiya was cut off by the slamming of the door. "Sei-chan..." I listened and I heard the elevator door open. I searched Seiya's feelings without realising it till a few seconds later. He was crying. "No. Don't cry. Please don't cry Seiya." I fell to my knees crying. "You're making ME cry. Don't cry!" Mamoru tried to get near to calm me down. "Don't touch me! Look what you've done!!" I said running up the stairs into his room and locking the door behind me. Seiya's P.O.V. 'I was thrown out of Mamoru's house. I thought he was over that. I just tried to comfort her, and look what I get.' "Odango, why should he deserve you?" I asked myself silently as I walked home. 'Great. Yaten's home. Oh, blowwave was done early. Looks cute. I said that? Oh well. He won't know. Now he'll probaly tell me I was in trouble from the day I met them.' "Hi Yaten. You look nice." I said as I came inside and sat on the couch. "Konnichiwa Seiya. Thanks. Oh, and I heard you talking." Yaten said smiling. "When?" "In your mind when you came in the door." Yaten put on his rarely simpethetic and kind face while smiling. You had to earn THAT face. "Please tell me what happened. Was it Mamoru or Usagi?" "Mamoru. He threw me out." "WHAT!?!?! That no good son of a-," He tapped his head before continuing. "never mind. What happened?" Yaten asked after stopping himself. "I had tried to comfort Usagi from crying." Yaten gave me a weary look. "She was crying for a reason today. She was appologising for not noticing I was in love with her. She said she was in love with me too, but couldn't leave Mamoru. She started crying because she didn't want me to hate her. I said daijobu and she cried in my shoulder. Then Mamoru came in." "Oh." Yaten looked deep into my eyes. Close enough to kiss. "You were crying. Sorry I went through your mind again, but I had to see. Your eyes aren't red anymore. Daijobu Seiya. He'll get over it." "Thanks Yaten." I gave him a long hug, and a long kiss, which he actually returned. 'So warm. Yaten's good. I did it again!' "I heard that, Seiya." Yaten said laughing. "You always do." I said smiling. I moved in again as Taiki came in. "What's going on?" Taiki said as he came in the door. Yaten must've sent Taiki a mental wave of what I just said with that sharp look, because a few seconds afterwords, Taiki had on one of his rare kind faces, too. "Oh Seiya. I'm sorry. That baka doesn't know what he's talking about. Mamoru I mean." Taiki said almost laughing. "Yeah." Taiki then kissed me. I was caught off guard, but I moved in. "You want to go for drinks?" I asked hopefully after he broke away. "Why now?" Taiki asked. "Because if you guys keep kissing me, I won't be able to stand up straight!" I said laughing. "And drinks will help?" Taiki said giving me a sideways look. "Drinks it is, then!" Yaten said quickly going out the door before anyone could oppose. Usagi's P.O.V. 'Ohh. He gets me SO mad!' "Usako, please. Let me in." Mamoru begged. "Nope. Keep dreaming." "Fine. I'll call the girls over to get you out." Mamoru said walking downstairs. I finally stopped crying. Luckily I had my bag with me. "I'm not waiting here." I said confidently. Then I climbed out the window and closed it behind me. I'm happy he lives in an apartment at the moment. The fire escape is always in use. 'I'll go home, then go to Seiya's house. We can talk there.' Without realising it, I had run my 'late for school' speed and was home in 30 seconds flat. Then I climbed up the thin ladder by my window. 'Glad I didn't lock it yet.' "Let's see. I'll grab a few snacks, and my Manga, some CDs, and I'm off." I was soon back on the ground. I set my window so it would automaticly lock after it closed. "I can be really smart and graceful when I try." I said to myself while running at top speed. 'Seiya. There you are.' "Hey!!" "Odango? What are you doing here?" Seiya asked. "I escaped. Shhh. Don't tell. Take me with you." I pleaded. "You can come Usa-chan, for once. We're going for drinks. You want a Malt or something?" Yaten said finally. "Sure. Let's go." I answered quickly. "What do you mean you escaped?" Taiki while driving. "I locked myself in his room, then climbed out the window." I said laughing. We all broke out into hysterical laughter. Mamoru's P.O.V. "Mosi Moshi? Oh hi Mamoru!" Rei said joyfully over the temple phone. "Hi Rei. I need the help of all you guys. "What now, Mamoru?" Rei asked. "Usagi's locked herself in my room and won't come out." I could hear her tell the rest of the girls the news. :Come with me to Mamoru's place to get Usagi out of his room. O.K. Rei.: "We'll talk details when we get there Mamoru." Rei said. "Grandpa, can I borrow your car?" "Sure Rei. But be carefu-" Grandpa was cut off with a kiss and her fast action to get the keys. "Bye Grandpa. Bye Mamoru." Rei said before hanging up. "Ja ne, Rei-chan." I said. About 5 minutes later they were here. "Hi girls." "Hello Mamoru. Details now." Rei said demandingly. "What happened to make Usagi hide in your room." Makoto asked expectantly. "Well, I threw Seiya out because it looked like he made Usako cry." "What did she do?" Ami asked. "Please Mamoru, show us in as much detail as possible." Minako said trying to hold back laughing. "Fine." I did almost exactly what Usagi did. "Then she said someting like 'Don't cry Seiya. You're making me cry. Don't cry.' Then she yelled at me and locked herself in my room. I don't get her sometimes." I said with a look of dissaproval. "You say she said 'Don't cry, you're making me cry'? That makes no sense." Rei said looking confused. "Yes it does, Rei. We have the power to see what others look like or search their minds. Yaten more than any of us, no effort, but we all can do it." Makoto explained. "Of course. She must've searched him without knowing it and saw he was crying. She can't stand to see people cry." Ami added. "Right. I got it. So I need you girls to help me find the key to my room. It's in here somewhere." "O.K." They all answered. After 10 minutes, Minako shouted, "I found it! I found it!" "Good. Now lets go get Usako." "Usagi, you better be ready, because we're coming to get 'cha!" Rei yelled on her way up the stairs. We unlocked the door and found........nothing. No bag. No Usako. "What!??!?! She's GONE!!!" We all said. "No way. How'd she get out?" Makoto asked. "Mamoru, it's getting cold. Could you close the door?" Ami asked. "It's closed already....But OBVIOUSLY, the window isn't." I said looking for the source of the breeze. "Out the window? Usa-chan? That's new." Minako said laughing again. "She can be graceful when she concentrates." I replied. "What now Mamoru?" Makoto asked. "Let's go find her." I said. Usagi's P.O.V. "Seiya, I'm really sorry Mamoru threw you out. That baka never knows what he's doing." I said getting Seiya's attention. "You're right. Let's go beat him up." Yaten answered. "No. We can't kill him...yet." Seiya said. "Chocolate Malt, Taiki. Arigato. Great, here comes Mamoru. I'll act like I don't know him. When I say 'Get away from me', we leave. Got it?" I asked to make sure. "Fine with me. Yaten, Seiya?" Taiki said waiting for an answer. "Yep. Got it." Yaten and Seiya answered. "Usa-chan! There you are." The girls said. "Hi guys. Who's that strange man you're with?" I said. "Come on Usako, don't act like this." Mamoru said. "Usako, I don't even know you yet. You can't call me Usako." "Hai we don't know you. So keep your grubby paws away." Yaten said with his usual anger, shooing Mamoru away. "Usako, please." Mamoru aid grabbing my hands. "Get away from me. Seiya, take me home." I said with the best angry face I could without laughing. "O.K. Odango. Ja ne, girls." Seiya answered quickly. "Wait!! Come back!!" Mamoru yelled. Too late. We were already in the car with our drinks and we drove off. "That was fun, wasn't it Yaten?" I asked hopeing he'd say yes. "Hai. That was great. I always wanted to say something like that to him. Now I did." Yaten said smiling. "Will you go back to him?" Seiya asked suddenly. "Eventually. I'll let him suffer until he appologises correctly. He won't get me so easily this time." I said triumphantly. "He was close, but he has to beg and plead. In front of everyone." "Oh, good. I'd like to see 'Mr. Sophistication' grovel at your feet." Taiki said laughing. A week went by. Usagi's P.O.V. "Good. A week has past. He should be calling right about," BRING BRING "Now. Moshi Moshi? Oh. It's you. What now, Mamoru?" I asked in a sarcastic tone. "Please Usako. Forgive me-" Mamoru was cut of by me. "If you want to appologise, come to the Malt Shop in 5 minutes. Then you can get me as much Ice Cream and Malts as I can eat." "Fine. 5 minutes. Got 'cha." CLICK. "Nope. I got you." 543-8823 "Hello Rei?" "Hi Usagi. What do you need?" Rei asked. "You and the girls to come to the Malt Shop in 2 minutes. I want you guys to be there when Mamoru appologises to me." "No prob. Girls, let's go to tha Malt Shop. Now!"Rei yelled. "Bye Rei." "ByeUsagi." Rei said as she hung up. CLICK 434-7701 "Hey Yaten-kun!" "Usagi! Hi." Yaten answered the phone. "Can you three come to the Malt Shop right about, now?" "Hai. We'll be there. Mamoru's appologising guys! Let's go!" He yelled. "Ja ne, Yaten-kun." "Ja ne." Yaten said. CLICK 872-3421 "Hello Haruka?" "Hi Neko-chan. Hai?" Haruka asked. "Come to the Malt Shop now. Bring Michiru, Setsuna, and Hotaru too. I'm meeting the guys there. And Mamoru." "Is he appologising? Minako told me." "Hai. Meet you there. Ja ne, Haruka." "Ja ne, Neko-chan." CLICK "Good. Now he can't escape." I ran my 'late for school' speed to beat everyone there. Soon, Seiya-tachi and Rei-tachi walked in followed by Haruka-tachi. "Hi guys. Come sit. I can see Mamoru's car!" And sure enough, Mamoru walked in. "Usako, please forgive me." Mamoru said. "Nope. You have to beg and grovel." His eyes started to tear and then he hugged me to death as he cried. "Usako!!! Gomen!! Forgive me!! I didn't mean to throw you out like that Seiya!! I'm so sorry!!! GOMEN NASI!! GOMEN NASI!!! I'M SORRY!! SO SORRY!!!" Mamoru cried. It was hilarious! He was using a mixture of English and Japanese. I could tell he was saying 'I'm sorry' in English because of the terrible accent. "O.K. Mamoru. That's enough. Your embarassing me." "I'm- huh? You mean it?" Mamoru asked with that puppydog face. "Hai. Daijobu. Now what about those Malts and Ice Cream? You have to buy one for everyone at this table. You promised." I said slyly. "O.K. How many?" Mamoru asked. "Chocolate Malt for me." I said. "Me too." said Mina. "I'll have a Vanilla Malt." said Ami and Lita. "Strawberry Ice Cream!" Hotaru, Chibi-Usa, and Michiru said. "Mint please." Setsuna, Yaten, and Rei said. "Marshmellow Shake!" Taiki answered. "What?" "Pistacio Shake!!" Haruka and Seiya yelled together. They stared at each other for a while after that. "I didn't know you liked pistacio." They said in unison again. "Stop that!" They did it again. "O.K. Weird. Haruka and Seiya agreeing on Ice Cream and phrases. What next?" I said. "A date." answered everyone but Haruka and Seiya. They just stared at eachother again. "Definately a date." "Iie." said Seiya and Haruka. "Stop acting like me, Haruka." Seiya said. "You stop acting like me. I was born first." Haruka answered. "Stop acting. We know you like eachother." Minako said with a snicker. That shut them up. Everyone drank their Malts, Shakes, and ate their Ice Cream in peace. With the occasional cracking up at Mamoru's proformance. "Mamo-chan," "Hai Usako?" Mamoru answered. "Don't make me do this again." "No problem." he said. "Neko-chan, you've got Ice Cream on your nose." Haruka said laughing. "How can you call her Neko-chan? I can't even call her Neko-chan! Haruka!" Mamoru said turning red. "Mamoru?" Haruka asked. "Yes?" He answered in a deadly tone. "You're doing it again." Haruka and Seiya said. "Stop that!!" they yelled looking at eachother. Everyone else got sweatdrops and laughed.
