Part XII "An end and a beginning for a new chapter"


After breakfast, Usagi fixed herself and decided to go 

home. As Usagi opened the door of her house, her eyes 

slowly widened as she saw Mamoru waiting for her inside. 

She starred at him for a moment, and slowly walked towards

 him. "Mamoru? Is that really you?" she asked. Mamoru 

smiled at her and gave her a tiny black velvet box. Usagi 

opened it and saw a diamond gold ring. Mamoru held her hand 

"Usagi, I know that I've always made you felt sad, it's 

been a long time ever since we first met. I think it's 

about time that we fulfill our plans even before when you 

were princess serenity. Usagi, will you marry me?" he asked 

as he kissed Usagi's hand. Usagi felt mixed emotions inside 

of her. She wanted to marry Mamoru; in fact that is her 

destiny. But Usagi felt that there is something else that

she wants, she felt a trace of emptiness inside of her. 

Mamoru starred at Usagi, he was expecting that Usagi would 

not think twice in his proposal. Usagi didn't know what to 

tell Mamoru, tears start to fell from her eyes. "Is there 

something wrong?" Mamoru asked as Usagi sat beside him. 

"No! There isn't. I just feel weird right now. I'm sure 

that you're aware that even if you don't propose to me, I'd 

still marry you. But I still want to have some time for 

myself. But don't worry, it won't take that much time." 

Usagi explained. Mamoru smiled then hugged usagi. "I'm not 

rushing you, I understand how you feel, just tell me if 

you're ready." He said. Outside of the Tsukino's residence, 

they didn't know that a threat for ruining their 

relationship was waiting for them. "So…this is where that 

Tsukino girl lives. You're good friend made my life 

miserable so, it's about time to give her back that 

favor…to someone close to her." Tomoe starred at Usagi's 

house. She could still remember Mamoru's face, he looks 

exactly like Mizuko.

Meanwhile, at the three lights apartment…

"Usagi slept here? Ok Seiya, what have you done to her?" 

Yaten grabbed Seiya. Seiya laughed "Relax Yaten! I slept at 

the living room, Usagi slept at my room. Nothing happened 

ok?" Taiki pulled yaten. "I suppose you don't trust Seiya 

that much?" Taiki said. Yaten smiled "Last night was the 

best day of my life!" "Me too. Ami looked really beautiful 

last night." Taiki said. Seiya wanted to tell them that he 

also felt that way but he decided to keep it for himself. 

Yaten and Taiki looked at Seiya. He looked really 

different. He kept on smiling even without a reason. "I'm 

happy for him" Taiki whispered to Yaten. "Me too, I hope he 

stays that way." Yaten said.

At kinmoku, Princess Kakyuu has been watching everything 

that was happening at Earth. She saw the big difference of 

the three's behavior when they got back at earth. She was 

also disturbed by Tomoe's plans against Usagi and Mamoru. 

When she was about to send a message to her starlights, she 

felt something blocking it. She felt a slight chill at her 

spine. "What is this? This could not be possible. They have 

defeated all of their enemies, but…what is this?" She asked 

herself. Then it slowly disappeared. She immediately sent a 

message to the three lights about what she felt that 

moment. "Fly as fast as you can, please deliver my message 

to them".
