Part IX "An end and a beginning for a new chapter"


Usagi was almost done; she was wearing a baby blue long dress that

 was a spaghetti strap at the top and Usagi pinned a butterfly 

brooch. She was still fixing her long blonde hair when Seiya arrived.

 "Are you ready?" he asked as he opened the door of Usagi's room. 

"Not yet, what should I do with my hair?" Usagi asked "I like your

 Odangos, that's the best style for you." Seiya smiled that made 

Usagi blush. She tied her Odango's sprayed some perfume on her and

 she was set to go. "Lets go," Usagi smiled. Seiya and Usagi had 

dinner at a fine restaurant. "It's a good thing that my table 

manners works sometimes, it would be a big shame for you if I act 

the usual way. I mean Seiya Kou, the popular dated a girl who drools

 on whatever food she sees." Usagi said that made Seiya laughed so

 hard that the other people noticed. "It's ok Odango, see, I'm the

 one who does not have table manners. ^ ^" Seiya said "You always 

make me feel good." Usagi smiled

It was the first time that Yaten saw Minako not wearing a big red 

ribbon at her head. Her hair was down and she was wearing a 

turtleneck peach dress, a bit above the knee. " Sorry if I kept you

 waiting." Minako with a shaky voice and was obviously nervous. 

Yaten smiled at her " You are not the real Minako! What have you 

done to her!" Yaten joked that made Minako blush. "Just be yourself,

 I like you that way." Yaten winked at Minako "ok!" she replied. 

Yaten and Minako arrived when Usagi and Seiya was done ordering. 

"Where are Taki and Ami?" Seiya asked. "I don't know, I left 

earlier." Yaten said. "Should we order for them?" Seiya asked Usagi,

 "No, let them order for themselves." Usagi said.

"I'm really sorry Taiki! I'm sure the others are waiting for us." 

Ami was wearing a white tube with a black see-through jacket and a 

black skirt that was a bit above the knee. "Do I look ok?" she 

asked with a very soft voice, looking down and a blushing face. 

"You look…perfect!" Taiki smiled. The two rushed to the restaurant

 where the four was and of course, they also ordered for the two of

 them. "After this dinner, could we give each other privacy with 

their own dates?" Yaten asked looking at Seiya and Taiki. "Sure, I 

was supposed to ask that too." Seiya said. After the dinner the 

three couples left on separate ways just like what they agreed on.

 Seiya and Usagi went to a place where they could see the sunrise.

 Seiya took out a blanket and laid it on the grass, and the two sat

 on it. Seiya noticed the brooch that Usagi was wearing. "You know

 what, that butterfly brooch reminded me of the princess. Before, 

when we were still searching for her red butterflies appear and 

gives out the scent of the princess." He said "Yeah, I remember 

that. It's a good thing she permitted the three of you to return 

here." "Yeah, but I can't stay that long. Taiki and Yaten are so 

lucky." Seiya remembered what he has to give in return for staying

 again in earth. "Why?" Usagi asked. Seiya kept silent for a while

 then held Usagi's hand. "Odango, if you and Mamoru were not 

destined to be married in the future, and you haven't known each 

other, will you consider me as the man you're destined to?" Seiya 

starred at Usagi with a very sad face, Usagi felt sad for him * 
so
 this is what minako meant before * " Seiya, I can't answer your 

question, because even if it is only an example, Mamoru still exist

 in my thoughts that might affect what I may answer to you. I've 

been thinking about him lately, he haven't called me for a couple of

 days." Usagi wept silently, Seiya hugged Usagi and wiped Usagi's 

tears. Silence surrounded the two, the cold breeze made Usagi chill.

 Seiya gave Usagi his jacket then Usagi stopped crying.
