Doujinshi: Starlight Serenade

* A very cute non-hentai doujinshi. Most of the artwork is by Ikazuchiya, but there are a couple pages by some other artists, including Takeda Yayoi (who draws some really nifty Escaflowne doujinshi).

The first story is kind of complicated. It's an alternative reality in which Mamoru makes some shocking discoveries about the real identities of his friends... and then proceeds to make some of the most hilarious reactionary-funny-faces I've ever seen. Oh, and Usagi is his pet cat. (Don't ask.) I didn't scan the whole thing, just my favorite panels with the Lights in them.

The next story is about Yaten being a sleepy-head. ^^ Trust me, you don't need to know a word of Japanese to understand what's happening on the next few pages. The artwork speaks for itself.

Interesting Note: Akaiko just pointed this out, and I think it's true. "In the doujinshi Starlight Serenade, I think the Three Lights/Starlights are always girls. Not just becuase of the way they are drawn, but look closely on page 23: That's a 'W' on the door. They're in the women's bathroom."

The third story a cute, sweet story about Seiya and Yaten arguing about their mission on Earth.
