Kinmoku Koibito! the unofficial Sailor Starlights fan club.

Mission Statement

1) To express our love, respect, and admiration of the Sailor Starlights and Princess Kakyuu.
By joining this club and adding a button, badge, or text link to your website, you are making a statement to the rest of the world. Even by just joining and adding your email address to the Members List, you are making a statement. The Sailor Starlights are cool, they're fun and they're awesome, and there's no shame in appreciating a beautiful alien body clothed in a skimpy black leather fuku. ;) In addition, membership in this club shows the world that you understand the complex personalities and motivations behind these misunderstood characters who are all too often written off as merely arrogant, cold, or rude.

2) To make a statement against the ignorance, closed-mindedness, and contempt so often encountered in the rest of the Sailor Moon fan community.
In the course of my adventures online, I've been told countless times by hundreds of people that the Sailor Starlights suck. I've also been told by these same people that their opinion - "the Starlights suck" - is the only justified and right opinion. This is particularly ironic, considering how many of these naysayers admit to having never seen the Sailor Stars anime or never having read the Stars manga. The only reason that I can imagine for this attitude being so widespread is... that this attitude is already widespread, and that newbies and other fans are content just to go along with the crowd, letting the majority decide their opinion before they even have a chance to see the actual Starlights in action. Well, it's about time that we start reversing that trend. Join the club, spread the word, and make loving the Starlights popular again. Give the newbies and the uninitiated an opposing point of view. Give them a fair chance to judge for themselves.

3) To promote more open minds and more maturity among the Sailor Moon fan community.
If I hear one more twelve-year-old telling me that "uterus" is an icky word, that the Starlight fuku is icky, or that gender bending is gross, I am going to SCREAM. The members of this club should understand that the sexuality and semi-erotic symbolism behind the Sailor Starlights makes them some of the most creative and fascinating characters that Naoko Takeuchi ever brought to life for the Sailor Moon saga. And if you still think that "uterus" is an icky term, go back to junior high health class and learn how to talk about these things with some honesty and maturity, please.

4) To meet and interact with other Starlights fans.
The Members List is a great place to meet other fans who appreciate and love the Sailor Starlights. There also used to be a fanclub forum, although due to lack of activity, it was unfortunately closed down.
