Fanclub Rules
This club is open to both members who own websites and members who do not. Basically, this club is open to anybody and everybody who wants to join. That having been said, however, I have decided to put up a few additional rules that members who own websites must comply with. And I don't think that the following two sections of rules need any more explanation than that.
I. Rules for ALL Members
You must fill out the Join Form completely and accurately. If you don't have a website, please leave the "Site URL" field blank. If you do have a website, remember to include the http:// in your URL.
You must fill out a seperate Update Form every time that you want/need to change your information on the Members List - i.e., you've changed your nickname, or your primary email address, or something. Do NOT submit the Join Form again if you are already a member!!
If you join without a website but later build yourself a website, again, use the Update Form to let me know. DO NOT submit the Join Form again if you are already a member!!!
II. Rules for Members with Websites Only
You must follow all of the above rules in Section I. That means filling out the Join Form completely and accurately, AND using the Update Form every time that you want to change your information on the Members List.
You must LINK BACK to Kinmoku Koibito on your website. You can pick up a badge or button here, or a text link will do just fine, thank you very much. ^^
I reserve the right to delete your name and your website from the Members List at any time, if I discover that:
- Your website contains stolen, copied, plagairized, or direct-linked material,
- OR that your website contains racist, sexist, or homophobic language and/or images.
I will be sure to contact you via email and inform you of my decision. I don't have unreasonably high standards regarding who gets to be a part of this club or who gets the boot; but the fact remains that I will not allow you to be a part of this club if your site violates the most basic rules of web ethics, period.
Most online cliques, clubs, and fanlistings have some sort of "no pornography" rule. But this one doesn't. It's perfectly okay by me if you have sexually explicit material on your website; just PLEASE make sure that it's seperated from any PG content, comes with a clear warning, and, preferrably, can't be accessed without some sort of I.D. verification. The majority of members in this club are under 18 years old, so keep that in mind if you choose to list your site on the Members List. For the record, I reserve the right to delete you and your website from the Members List if I find you posting sexually explicit material without any warnings beforehand on your site. (And no, your "18 and older only" warning page can't have anything naughty on it, either.) Again, I will be sure to contact you via email and inform you of my decision.
There now. Those aren't difficult or unreasonable rules at all, are they? (*smile*) Basically, the thing that I want to stress the most is that members are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to use the Update Form when they change their membership info. It's the responsibility of each member to keep the Members List up to date.
